Birmingham Royal Ballet

  • A Sense of Company

Birmingham Royal Ballet worked with young people from the St. Ann’s and Sneinton areas of Nottingham to introduce them to ballet as an art form and creativity through dance. Community groups involved included the St. Ann’s Scouts, Nottingham Brazilian Soccer Squad and students from Nottingham Academy School. I collaborated with Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Renewal Trust to produce a series of pictures about participants in the programme, exploring their neighborhood environment, individual personalities and their journey throughout the week of workshops.

The project was realized by The Renewal Trust in partnership with Birmingham Royal Ballet
